Adirondack chairs for sale!

Construction technology student using a power tool to cut wood

There's nothing quite like relaxing in an Adirondack chair!

As part of our students’ work-based learning requirement for earning their Career & Technical Education – Technical Endorsement Diploma, our Construction Technology students at Albany High School will be building Adirondack chairs, which are now available for order.

Students are required to put together materials cost estimates working directly with the lumber yards, communicate directly with the buyer to discuss project details, interpret building plans and build the Adirondack chairs to the customers’ specifications.

The students will be finalizing their own estimates for learning purposes. For potential buyers, the total cost of the project is averaging $220-$390. Wood choices include cedar, mahogany and pine.

Customers will be responsible for picking up their Adirondack chair once it is completed.  Due to the size of the chair, a pick-up truck, car with trailer or large SUV is best for transport.

Check out this , which has all the details you need, including how to place your order.
